Rental fees are due at pick up. You will be charged in EUR.
Rental car companies require the driver to supply a credit card in his/her name in order to pick up the car.
Additional restrictions and fees may apply based on driver's age.
Additional charges may apply for required insurance, optional items, or additional drivers. These services can be purchased from the rental car company at the time of rental.
Policies
Additional drivers must qualify with a valid driver's license in their own name. There may be charges for additional drivers other than a spouse.
Child/Infant Seats, Snow Chains, Ski Racks and Navigational Systems are available, customer must check for availability for these options upon arrival at the counter.
After hour return arrangements must be made at the time of vehicle check out. After hour return cost: EUR 50.00 including VAT.
Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) is optional. If purchased, renter's financial responsibility for the Dollar vehicle is reduced to between EUR 1200 and EUR 2200, depending upon the size of vehicle rented. Super Damage Waiver (SDW) is optional, reduces responsibility to between EUR 600.00 and EUR 1100.00 (varies by cartype) when purchased in conjunction with LDW. Theft Protection (TP) is optional at counter. Third Party Liability is included in the rental rates. Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is optional at counter. To decline LDW, customer must have US issued Gold/Platinum MasterCard or Canadian issued Gold/Platinum Visa Card and provide WRITTEN PROOF issued BY CREDIT CARD INSURANCE COMPANY that the card has FULL COVERAGE for GERMANY or WORLDWIDE at time of rental. Only US issued Gold/Platinum Mastercard or Canadian issued Gold/Platinum Visa can be used to waive LDW coverage. These cards will only be accepted for coverage for rental periods of less than 28 days in any calendar year. For 9-seaters, Credit Card Coverage is NOT accepted. If relevant card AND cover letter are not produced at time of commencement of rental then Dollar LDW must be purchased. In the event of an accident, any damage or theft, whatever the cause or who is to blame (even if the car was unattended), the driver must obtain the relevant report from the German police. Failure to provide a correctly completed police report to the rental agent on return of the vehicle will void the Loss Damage Waiver (LDW). The driver will then be liable for the total cost of the damage up to and including the total cost of the vehicle. Location does NOT accept insurances purchased on third party websites.
Driving is on the right side of the road. Driving is restricted to all EU countries, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Croatia, Norway and Iceland only. It is strictly forbidden to go into operational zones (war zones) and areas of conflict. According to German law, winter tires are mandatory from October until March if the termperature is 7 degrees Celsius or below. Extra charges are not included in rental rates. Cost for Winter Tires: EUR 13.00 per day, maximum EUR 130.00 charge. By declining this fee, the customer is responsible for any and all fines, fees, charges, etc. related to a vehicle without the proper weather tires.
Cash/Traveler's checks and Debit/Check cards are not accepted as a form of payment. Credit card presented for payment must be in the primary driver's name. Minimum available credit required: Deposit required at time of rental is the amount of the insurance excess for the vehicle. Amount varies by cartype from EUR 1200 to EUR 2200. Location is not responsible for any losses caused by fluctuations of currencies. Credit cards accepted at this location are American Express, Visa, and Mastercard.

A valid drivers license in the customers own name must be presented at the time of pick up. Renters must have held a valid drivers license from resident country for a minimum of 1 year for all vehicles except LCAR and LDAR, minimum hold is 3 years. Location accepts the International Drivers Permit in conjunction with license from resident country. IDP mandatory for Non-Latin licenses. Minimum age is 21 on most vehicles; please see special Vehicle Requirements. Renters under 25 may be subject to an additional fee.
Any changes to the reservation or rental may result in a change of rate or additional fees.
Luxury vehicles require customer to be 25 years of age or older to rent this vehicle type.
