BOOKING CONDITIONS LAKELUZERN TOURISM

Lake Luzern tourism acts as an agent making reservations of holiday chalets ,holiday apartments and hotel rooms on behalf of their owners or representatives. All information about the properties is collected very carefully and is based on information provided by the owners or landlords. We cannot be held responsible for changes which occur without our knowledge or after going to print for misprints.
Conditions of payment

Lake Luzern tourism does not make any collect of payments.

Holiday apartments and chalets:

A deposit of CHF 200.—to the account of the owner of the apartment (account mentioned on the reservation) within 10 days after the booking. A reservation becomes firm upon receipt of the deposit. Final payment by arrival.
Hotel rooms:

Payment of the total amount by arrival to the hotel.

Costs and additional charges

The prices stated in the reservation are binding. We reserve the right to make cost adjustments for reasons beyond our control (e.g. currency fluctuations, newly-introduced or raised taxes). In certain cases the additional charges listed are an indication only and may therefore be subject to minor adjustments. The rented properties or hotel rooms may not be occupied by more than the maximum number of people stated in the reservation.
Should the client wish to cancel the reservation, the following conditions apply:
Up to 90 days before arrival, 75% of the deposit will be refunded (not for hotel reservations – no deposit)
Up to 30 days before arrival, the full deposit will be retained (not for hotel reservations – no deposit)
Within 30 days of the arrival date, the full cost will be payable for a chalet or holiday apartment
If the flat or the hotel room can be let following cancellation, the owner of the apartment or the hotel is obliged to reimburse the full amount, minus a cancellation charge of CHF 50.--.
Early departure does not entitle the tenant to any refund. It is recommended to take out a cancellation insurance.
Complaints
Complaints have to be discussed with the owner of the apartment / chalet or hotel.

Responsibilities

Lake Luzern tourism is not responsible for any unforeseeable events which are beyond its control such as:

• Defects or interruptions in the water or energy supply, as well as appliances such as heating, lifts, swimmingpools, etc.
• Reductions in the rental value following environmental damage, temporary higher noise levels, e.g. traffic diversions, building sites, etc.

The lessee is entirely responsible for damage that has been proven to have been caused during the lessee-s stay. Any damage must be notified to the owner or his representative before departure.
