If the applicant has not authorised a third party, the Australian
Act 1988 and the Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 restricts
the
Electronic Tourist Visa Global Processing Centre from disclosing any
details to individuals other than the applicant. Please note that only
the visa applicant can authorise another person for this purpose.
The applicant may authorise another person to act on their behalf in
connection with their Electronic Tourist Visa application, by sending
an
email to with confirmation of their
intention to authorise the person for this purpose, and the person's
full
name, email address and postal address. This email needs to signed off
by
the applicant, not the person being authorised.
TRAVELLING COMPANIONS AND DEPENDANTS:If you are travelling with a partner/spouse/companion or a dependant
child, noting them in your application as a "travelling companion" does
NOT provide this/those persons with a visa to enter Australia.

application.
Your dependent children (under 18 years of age) may be included in your

VISA CONDITIONS:Any visa conditions applying to a visa at the time of visa grant are
legally binding and cannot be altered after the visa has been granted.
Should the circumstances applying to the initial visa application no
longer apply, the applicant may decide to lodge a new visa application.
Please note, however, that the lodgement of a new application for the
same
type of visa where there has been no change in the applicant's
circumstances will not necessarily result in a variation to conditions
imposed on the original visa.
ETA Enquiry:Your query may refer to an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), which is
an
electronically-stored authority for travel to Australia for a
short-term
visit or business entry. It replaces the visa label or stamp in a
passport and removes the need for application forms. If you wish to
learn
more about the ETA please visit: http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ for more
information. To check the validity of an existing ETA issued through
the
ETA website, please visit: http://www.eta.immi.gov.au/ If you are
trying
to lodge an application for an ETA via the Internet but are
experiencing
technical difficulties in lodging your application, then please email
