2-Ramblas
A series of streets, joined together one after the other, that lead from Plaça Catalunya to the sea. The word rambla comes from the Arabic term, ramla, which means a riverbed, and these streets actually used to be a riverbed that channelled the water coming down from Collserola hill.

3-Plaça Catalunya:If you're not a fan of pigeons, steer clear. If you're here in the spring, you'll find concerts taking place for the Festival Internacional de Jazz Terrassa .

Light Showuring the summer evenings, when the fountain is activated, it attracts hundreds of visitors who watch the approx. 15 minute spectacular display of light, water and music. At the same time, the Palau National is illuminated, providing a beautiful background. The show runs every thirty minutes. The start and end date depend on the time of the year, but the best time to see the fountain is at sunset.

INFO : Antoni Gaudí i Cornet (Reus, 1852 - Barcelona, 1926) built Güell Palace commissioned by Eusebi Güell (Barcelona, 1846-1918), who wanted a new house in Barcelona, in Nou de la Rambla street. Güell Palace was in fact the only building that Gaudí actually completed and has undergone no significant alterations since then.
