Day 1 (1st October 08)

One of the most spectacularly located hotels in Sri Lanka, perched way up in the hills on the western edge of the Knuckles Ranges. You can have nature walks led by expert resident naturalist into the stunning surrounding countryside.

Day 2 (2nd October 08)
Spend this day at the hotel, enjoy the beauty surroundings around the area. There are nature walks you can do from the hotel.

Day 3 - (3rd October 08)

Spend this morning exploring Kandy. A lively city, Kandy is surrounded by rolling hills and forest. The last capital of the Singhalese Kingdom, this hill country city is famed for its lake and the Temple of the Tooth , resting place of the country's most precious Buddhist relic. Set on the banks of the lake, and surrounded by moat, the temple and its setting makes for unforgettable moonlit walks.
The Peradiniya Botanical Gardens are within 30 minutes of Kandy, and are also home to the enormous fruit bats who hang from the tree tops as they sleep during daytime.
Afternoon visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela. This orphanage was started in 1975 to house the abandoned and the wounded elephants. The number of elephants has increased to more than 65 now; including Baby Elephants brought from various parts, as well as some of the more then 25 babies born, as a result of the captive breeding programme. The best time to visit is the feeding time from 0930-1000 hrs and 1330-1400 hrs and the bathing time from 1000-1030 hrs and 1400-1430 hrs when all the elephants are taken to the river close by.
You could also visit a traditional arts & crafts centre, a gem museum.
Evening enjoy a Sri Lankan cultural show.

Day – (4th October 08)

This morning drive to Nuwara Eliya. You can visit a tea plantation and factory at Labukellie.
Nuwara Eliya or Little England is Sri Lanka's most popular holiday resort. At approximately 6500 feet above sea level, with temperatures ranging from 12 C to 22 C it opens into a breathtaking panorama of colour. Beautiful gardens, cascading waterfalls, lakes and sweet smelling mountain air.

Day 5 – (5th October 08)

This day you will be driven to Ambewela and visit Horton Plains (World End). It is beautiful, silent, strange world with some excellent hikes in the shadows of Sri Lanka’s second-and third- highest mountains- Kirigalpotta (2395m) and Totapola (2398m), rearing up from the edges of the plateau. The ‘plains’ themselves form an undulating plateau over 2000m high, covered by wild grasslands and interspersed with patches of thick forest, rocky outcrops, filigree waterfalls and misty lakes.
Return to the hotel for lunch.

Day 6 – (6th October 08)
After breakfast you will be driven to Bentota for the beach stay. You can enjoy the cascading beauty of Devon and St Clairs water falls on the way.

Day 7 – (7th October 08)
This day you will be driven to Negombo on the way you can do a small city tour of Colombo if you like.
In Colombo visit some wonderful temples, Barefoot café, and shop till you drop picking up all sorts of wonderful items to take back to Saudi as a reminder of Sri Lanka.
Thereafter drive to Negombo.
Relax, read, swim and you may visit the famous Negombo fishing village “ lellama” where the fish caught by thousands of fishing boats are brought to shore and sold at auction predominantly for export.

Transfer to the airport for your departure.
