I am pleased to advise that you have been granted an Australian Subclass 676 Tourist visa. Any family members included on your passport have also been granted a visa.
Your visa is electronic and you do not require a visa label in your passport in order to travel to, enter and remain in Australia. You are not required to present this letter in order to travel to, enter and remain in Australia.This letter contains important information about the period for which the visa is in effect and conditions that attach to that visa. You should carefully read and understand the information provided in this letter.
VISA INFORMATION: Your visa and passport details are electronically recorded. When you arrive at an airport to check-in on a flight to Australia, the airline check-in staff can electronically confirm that you have authority to travel to, enter and remain in Australia.
VISA CONDITIONS: It is very important that you understand and abide by your visa conditions. If you do not abide by the visa conditions, your visa may be cancelled. Your visa has the following conditions:
§ NO WORK – 8101: You must not engage in work in Australia; "work" means an activity that, in Australia, normally attracts remuneration.
§ MAXIMUM 3 MONTHS STUDY – 8201: While in Australia you must not engage in any studies or training for more than three (3) months.
§ X-RAY IF INTEND TO STUDY – 8205: Visa holders are no longer required to pass a chest x-ray examination even if they intend to study in a classroom environment for a period greater that 4 weeks. Consequently, you are not required to comply with this condition.
PASSPORT: Your visa is attached to your passport with the passport number specified above. If you obtain a new passport prior to your travel to Australia, you will need to contact your nearest immigration office (see: http://www.immi.gov.au/contacts/index.htm). You do not need to contact an immigration office if your full name is not listed on this letter. You can travel with your visa so long as you do not change your passport.
