RENTAL CONDITIONS

Booking Group has arranged your car rental with the car rental company indicated above. You should present voucher on car pick up at the rental desk. Please notice that the voucher is not a rental agreement and when you pick up the vehicle, you must sign a rental agreement with Rental Company named on this voucher which will be subject to local laws. Rental amount stated on first page of voucher should be paid to car rental Company. All local fees for services not included in the rental are billed by and under a contract with, the Rental Company and are billed in local currency.
Reservation amendments can be done in “My Order” section 72 hours prior to commencement of the rental and are subject of a rental price available at the time of change. Cancellation must be done in writing, fax or email prior to 48 hours to the start of your rental. We cannot accept cancellation by telephone. Please see full cancellation policy in “Terms” section on our website. Booking Group does not refund any unused days if the customer does not show up, shows up late or returns the vehicle early.
DRIVING AGE AND DRIVER LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
All drivers must be at least 21 years of age.
Renters 21-24 years of age may rent Mini through Standard size cars (as well as Compact- and Standard-Wagon). Additional fees may apply for Renters below 25 years of age.

• Please note: age policy may vary by location; please contact the renting branch directly if you have questions.

When collecting a car from our car rental supplier the principal driver & any additional drivers will need to provide a full driving license on their name and a valid passport (or ID card, if it is written in roman characters and only for EU countries).
Driving license printed with non Roman Alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Cyrillic etc) must be complemented by an International driving license.

• Please note: an international driving license/permit does not replace the requirement for a regular driving license. If using an international license/permit, a full driving license in the principal drivers name will still be mandatory in order to rent the vehicle.

PRIMARY DRIVER CREDIT CARD PREAUTHORIZATION

At time of pick up you will be required to leave a deposit to cover the value of the insurance excess. A Security Deposit of 250.00 EUR plus estimated cost of the rental will be blocked on an international credit card in the name of the primary driver (cash deposits are not accepted).
The blocked amount will be returned in full at the end of the rental provided the vehicle is returned in the same condition as rented.
Excess 750.00 EUR for Mini to Standard size, 950.00 EUR for Full Size classes and above.
FUEL POLICY
The vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as provided at the beginning of the rental, otherwise the customer will be charged for the missing fuel plus a refueling charge.

CROSS BORDER POLICY

You may drive the rental car to certain countries outside of Germany with the prior written approval of the renting Branch. There are certain restrictions on car classes and makes/models. Travel is possible to the following countries: Croatia, Italy, the Vatican, San Marino, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czechoslovakia and Hungary, excluding rentals of the following Brands: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Land Rover, and Jaguar. An additional charge applies 6.00 EUR per day.

VEHICLE GROUP/MODEL

We are unable to guarantee a particular make, model or fuel type of car. The car shown on your voucher is for guidance only and may be substituted for an alternative, similar or upgraded car (at no extra cost) at our option. If, at time of pickup, it becomes impossible to provide your booked car as shown on your rental voucher due to breakdown or an accident, a similar or upgraded car will be provided by the supplier.

CUSTOMER SERVICE QUERIES

If for any reason you are dissatisfied with any aspects of your rental, you must report your concerns at the time locally to the car rental company. If you are still not happy and wish to make a formal complaint, all complaints also after rental was finished, you must be put in writing to our customer services team at . We will make investigation on your behalf. You will receive an acknowledgement of your email within a few days and we endeavor to answer all customer service queries within 28 days of receiving them. Sometimes we can experience delays, if we are dealing with third parties.

Please note additional equipment such as child seat, GPS, snow chains etc are all on request and subject to availability. They will be charged for locally and may be subject to airport fees and local taxes as applicable. Booking Group will pass on all requests to the supplier in advance of your arrival, but unfortunately cannot guarantee the availability of any extras.

ABOUT BOOKING GROUP REFUNDABLE EXCESS

Booking Group Refundable Excess reimburses extra costs car rental company will apply to a renter in case of an accident, theft or car keys loss for € 5.67 per day no matter of vehicle class and season.

REFUNDABLE EXCESS APPLIES TO:

Damages of the rental car (except for windows, glass, tires, roof and undercarriage), received as a result of an accident and car theft during car rental period will be covered by Booking Group up to the amount of € 750;
Damage of the rental car (except for windows, glass, tires, roof and undercarriage) received due to a theft of your personal possessions will be covered by Booking Group up to the amount of € 750. Please note that Booking Group takes no responsibility for client's personal possessions left in the car;
Damages, loss or theft of the keys during the rental period will be covered by Booking Group up to the amount of € 200
REFUNDABLE EXCESS DOES NOT COVER:
Vehicle damages received as a result of weather conditions or cleaning process;
Vehicle damages received as a result of war, terrorism, revolution, epidemic, radiation;
Vehicle damages received as a result of your illegal, inaccurate and careless actions or inappropriate use (for example, if you filled up the car with a wrong type of fuel or if you left the car with the lights on and as a result its battery was discharged);
Loss or damage of documents, personal money and travel tickets;
Broken or damaged sports and technical equipment;

Damages of windows, mirrors, tyres, roof and undercarriage

Car interior damages;

To refund your excess we need you to email us at and provide within 28 calendar days from the date of an insurable event full information and as much documents and evidence confirming your insurable event as possible, including: Rental agreement;
Documents confirming your travel period;
Photo and video materials;
Driving license copy of the person being at the wheel of the insured rental vehicle at the moment of the accident;
If you do not contact us and do not provide documents and evidence within the time specified, your case will not be considered

ABOUT BOOKING GROUP «CANCEL PROTECTION»

«Cancel Protection» option gives you an opportunity to waive cancellation fees, if reservation been cancelled 48 hours prior to the rental. By purchasing it just for € 9.40, in case of canceling your booking in time, you are guaranteed to get back your prepayment no matter what the rental cost and duration is.
«CANCEL PROTECTION» RESTRICTIONS:
«Cancel Protection» is not valid: If you cancel your booking later than 48 hours before rental, or after the rental period has already started.
If you cancel your booking because some of required documents (e.g. passport, driving license, credit card etc.) are missing or are not valid at the moment of executing a rental agreement on-site.

HOW TO CANCEL YOUR BOOKING:

We understand that your plans may change, so if you have to give up on your trip and you would like to cancel your booking please contact us via email or fax. Once this is done, you will receive email confirming, that your reservation has been canceled. Phone cancellations cannot be accepted
