Piestany:is located in the south-western part of the Slovak Republic , in the northern extremity of the warm Danube lowland ,in the broad valley of the Vah river ,under the
Western slopes of the Povazsky Inovec of mountains , in the altitude of 162 metres.
The municipal part of Piestany with its thirty –five thousand inhabitants, the shopping network and services, hotels and cafés,several significant spa buildings, recreational, cultural and social facilities ,an extensive municipal park ,sports groundsand playgrounds,as well as the whole remaining municipal infrastructure are situated on the right bank of the Vah river.
The spa part, with outflows of thermal springs, deposits of curative mud, spa buildings
Balneotherapeutic, examination and other curative facilities, the social center with additional services, park promenades and thermal swimming pools is situated on the left bank of the Vah river, in the pleasant and cultivated environment of parks of the spa Island.

Visa Requirements:

• Valid passport at least for 6 months.
• Letter from the employer.
• Current bank balance sheet and/or copy of valid credit card.
• Two recent passport size Photos.

. Accommodation for at least 3 nights at the destination(s) and/or confirmed return ticket.
The embassy might request additional documents and/or to interview traveler(s).
Petra holidays will assist traveler(s) to obtain entry visa but it is the sole right for the embassy to reject any request for entry visa.

Piestany belongs among the places in the warmest regions of Slovakia. The climate is typically the lowland one here ,and slightly dry . The average annual air temperature of 9.4 C is comparatively high. The monthly average daily temperature in May at 2pm is 19.3 C, 24.5C in July and 20.5C in September .the annual average of sunshine represents 2,084hours, and from that more than 9 hours per day in summer. Only seventy-five days in a year are without sunshine .The average total of 611mm of precipitations annually corresponds with the spa altitude.
